A Flower Story: DIY Faux Flower Backdrop

I’ve been wanting to do a flower wall fur-ever and figured it would be the perfect backdrop for my Frenchie’s 2nd birthday! Having a birthday party for a dog may sound crazy to some, but not to fur parents. My pup Nori is my best friend and she should be celebrated!

This project cost $9. Thank you Dollar Tree!

Supplies:

  • Eight Bunches of faux flowers (depending on how small or large you want it to be)

  • Washi Tape

  • Wire Cutter

  • Scissors

There is a big empty area in our living room where my husband made a DIY succulent wall hanging of the letter E. E is for Elliott, which is our last name. I completely forgot to take a before picture of the area, so just imagine a light-colored wall with an E covered in succulents.

3. My husband did a great job with the E! Time to add a little pop color.Grab a stem and tape to the wall using the Washi tape. I have textured walls, so I needed extra reinforcement (two strips). I started by doing each row vertically.

I used 3 stems of flowers and just tucked them into the E. No tape needed.
