Happy Birthday Little Love!
Our French Bulldog turned 3 on July 22. Nori is an angel sent from above. We love her more than anything in this world. Here’s a little photoshoot we had for her. Enjoy!

I’ve been wanting to do a flower wall fur-ever and figured it would be the perfect backdrop for my Frenchie’s 2nd birthday! Having a birthday party for a dog may sound crazy to some, but not to fur parents. My pup Nori is my best friend and she should be celebrated!
This project cost $9. Thank you Dollar Tree!
Supplies:
Eight Bunches of faux flowers (depending on how small or large you want it to be)
Washi Tape
Wire Cutter
Scissors
There is a big empty area in our living room where my husband made a DIY succulent wall hanging of the letter E. E is for Elliott, which is our last name. I completely forgot to take a before picture of the area, so just imagine a light-colored wall with an E covered in succulents.
1. Cut the stems off the bunches.
2. Organize your stems. Each bunch had an average of 5-6 stems. I decided I wanted 5 rows both vertically and horizontally. For this project, I used 26 stems. I tried placing my flowers in alternating order so that they wouldn’t be repeated. No matter how you organize, it will look great!
3. My husband did a great job with the E! Time to add a little pop color.
Grab a stem and tape to the wall using the Washi tape. I have textured walls, so I needed extra reinforcement (two strips). I started by doing each row vertically.
I used 3 stems of flowers and just tucked them into the E. No tape needed.
4. Take a pic of the final product.
5. Take a Selfie.
5. Take a photo of your pet and add a watercolor filter!
This post is dedicated to the love of our lives, Nori the Great!
Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
Happy Birthday!
One Sunday morning, I jumped out of bed and ran to to the nearest flower shop. A special shoutout to Field of Flowers by the way! I guess I was inspired by something in a dream? I had been wanting to do a styled shoot for so long, but I had my doubts. I am def not a photographer. Stylist? No way. But this morning, I had an overwhelming feeling to create and I did just that.
The idea was to create an easy, intimate table setting for under $75.
Here’s what I purchased:
Hydrangeas (2 Blue/White)
Petite Hydrangeas (2 Green)
Italian Ruscus (1 Bunch)
Israeli Ruscus (1 Bunch)
Hypericum Stem (2)
Mums (1 Bunch)
Ash/Cream Charger Plates (6)
Textured Glass Plates (6)
White Cloth Napkins (Set of 6)
Tea Light Holders (2)
I used my own glasses and utensils. So how much did I really spend? $64.02. Not too bad, right?
Italian Ruscus
Mixed Ruscus and Hypericum
Hydrangeas
Please note: Hydrangeas are beautiful, but thrive best in water. Water tubes/picks work best!
Floral Centerpiece Magic
Charger plates were purchased at Michael’s. Glass plates are from Dollar Tree.

So, what’s on the menu? Order from your favorite restaurant, heat up and serve! No need for anything fancy - comfort food is just fine. I have a craving for lasagna all of a sudden. Until next time.
