A True Tiny Nuptial

Elopement at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, FL.

Our tiny nuptial took place at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, FL on January 8th, 2016. The gardens were so calm and peaceful - we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Our vendors really went above and beyond in helping us capture the beauty of this historical landmark.

We decided to do videography at the very last minute, and we’re so pleased with our decision. Regan of Regan Elizabeth Films is amazing. From the very beginning, she understood our vision without us having to say much at all. She even knew of the band/song we picked as the soundtrack to the video. Some of you may know it! A quirky little tune by The Proclaimers, I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). Sleeping at Last did a cover of it and it's awesome.

Small Miami Weddings’ Gen and Melissa were also in attendance on this lovely day. They really made everything so easy for us. All we had to do was show up! These ladies totally rocked it! Melissa with her touching words, and Gen with her photography skills - we were definitely in good hands.

It all came together so beautifully. I was a bit nervous at first, but they welcomed us with friendly smiles and warm hearts. We could feel the love and passion that they had for what they were doing. Everything felt very natural...we couldn’t have asked for a better group of individuals to work with.
